Masala Mirapakaya Bajji


Mirapakaya Bajji
  1. Green chiilies - 4 to 5 nos
  2. Besan / senaga pindi - 1 cup
  3. Rice flour -1 tbsp
  4. Salt
  5. Red chilli powder 1 pinch
  6. Eating soda 1 pinch
  7. Water for mixing.
  8. Jeera for stuffing - 3 spoons
  9. Oil for deep fry
  10. Onions, coriander (optional for post stuffing)
  11. Firstly grind jeera and salt in grinder to form a powder.
  12. Cleanly wash the Mirchi and dry them with a cloth
  13. Slit the chilies length wise and remove the seeds with the help of a spoon. Do not remove the seeds if you want the bajjis to be hot. If you want you can remove half seeds and keep half seeds so that the bajjis will be hot but not burning
  14. stuff the chillies with the jeera and salt powder
  15. Take gram flour in a bowl and add salt, spoon of rice flour, pinch of sodea, pinch of red chilli powder and mix them with water to form a fine paste. The batter should be consistent Take a pan and pour oil to it and put it on flame
  16. After the oil is heated up, take each mirchi and dip them in the batter and drop each in heated oil carefully
  17. Fry 3 to 4 at a time depending on the size of ur pan till golden brown.
  18. Take out them from oil and put them on tissue paper so the excess oil gets absorbed by the tissue.
  19. To make them more tastier slit and half open the cooked bajji and stuff them with finely chopped onions, coriander and mint leaves.
