Thalipeeth

Thalipeeth
Leftover rice- 1 cup Leftover plain dal (varan)- 1 cup Leftover fenugreek dry veg (Maharastrian style methi bhaji)- 1/4 cup (optional) Leftover chopped onion- ½ cup

INGREDIENTS

Gram flour (Besan)- ¼ cup Red chilli powder- ½ tsp Cumin- coriander powder- 1 tsp Salt to taste

METHOD

Blend rice and dal together. Put in bowl, combine all remaining ingredients. Knead dough. Divide the dough in 2 parts. Apply some oil on a pan & roll out each part with hands in pan. Make hole for pour oil. Fry both the sides golden brown, and your tasty thalipeeth is ready to eat. Serve hot with curd or homemade saltless butter or even tomato ketchup. You can use chopped coriander- ¼ cup instead of fenugreek dry veg.
