Keeradosa



Keera or cucumber is normally taken as raw. It is used in salads. Cucumbers keep the skin cool and clean during hotsummers.They also help in maintaining the temperature of the blood in the body. Of course these are good qualities of cucumbers. 
Extra care is required while choosing the cucumbers for using in recipes like chutneys and dosas.
Choose only firm, rounded and green cucumbers. Avoid wrinkled, yellowed or puffy ones.They tastes bitter.
This is a different recipe. 

Ingredients:

Cucumber-1
Wheat flour-1cup
Green chillies-2
Salt – to taste
Carom seeds/Ajwain -1tbsp
Til-1tbsp
Red chilli powder-1tbsp
Water-as per requirement
Onions-1 large
Preparation:
Peel and grate the cucumber.
Chop green chillies.
Chop onions.

Procedure:


Take wheat flour, grated cucumber in a bowl and add salt, red chilli powder, chopped green chillies, ajwain, til and water. Mix well. The consistency of dosa batter should be thick same as dosa batter.

Heat dosa tawa. Take laddle full of dosa batter. Spread it around the tawa. Spread one teaspoonfull oil. 

Sprinkle chopped onions. Cook for 2 minutes. Turn it and cook for 2 more minutes. Cook these dosas in low flame. Serve them with coconut chutney.
