Upma

Upma

Ingredients:

Roasted suji(semolina)-1cup
Chopped onion-1big
Chopped tomato-1small
Chopped Green chilies-3
Chopped ginger-1/4tsp
Curry leaves-5
Coriander leaves-1/4tsp
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Black gram-1tsp
Bengal gram-1tsp
Oil-4tbsp
Ghee -1tbsp
Water – 3cups

Procedure:

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok add Bengal gram, black gram, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.





When they pop add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, ginger. 




Sauté them till they turn brown colour then add 3 cups of water, salt. 




When water starts boil
