Aloo Kurma

Aloo Kurma

Ingredients for aloo kurma:
Boiled and peeled aloo or potatoes – 6large
Sliced onions-3large
kurma masala-4tbsps(fine paste of coconut, coriander seeds, ginger, garlic, onions, cinnamon, clove and marati mogga)
tamarind pulp-1tbsp
turmeric powder-a pinch
salt – to taste
oil-1tbsp

Procedure:

Heat oil in fry pan add onions fry them till they turn to brown. Add kurma masala and fry it till the aroma comes. Cut boiled aloo into small pieces and add them to kurma.
Add tamarind pulp, salt and turmeric powder. Allow it to boil for 10 minutes.
