Pesarattu (moong dosa, green gram dosa)

Ingredients:

Moong or moong dal (green gram)-1cup
Salt-to taste
Chopped Onions-2big
Chopped Ginger-1tbsp
Chopped Green chilies-3
Cumin seeds-1tsp




This dosa can be taken with coconut chutney and ginger chutney. 
For coconut chutney make fine paste of coconut 1/2portion, 3 green chilies and salt.




For ginger chutney take equal parts of ginger, jagery, tamarind pieces, red chili powder and salt and make fine paste of all of them.  

Preparation method:






Soak moong or moong dal for about 5 hours and grind it smoothly. Add salt. This is the batter for dosa. This batter need not be fermented.
Take a ladle full of dasa batter and spread it in a circular motion on the tawa.

Griddle with little oil around the dosa. spread chopped onions, ginger and green chilies on it. cook for 2 minutes.

Need not cook on the other side. Fold it and serve with coconut chutney and ginger chutney.
