Rice Pakoda

Rice Pakoda
Cooked rice

INGREDIENTS

Cooked rice - 1 cup 
Besan powder - 1/2 cup (as required)
 Red chilli powder - 1 tsp 
Green chilli - 2 
Turmeric powder -1 tsp
 Asafoetida - a pinch 
Chat masala - 1 tsp 
Ginger (chopped finely) - 1 inch piece 
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp 
Salt to taste 
Oil for deep frying

METHOD

1. Mix all the above ingredients except oil, in a bowl. Mash properly using your hand. 
Add besan powder little by little to get the correct consistancy. 
2. Heat oil and put the mixture little by little in it using your hand. 
3. If we put small quantity of the mixture in the oil, it will turn more crispier. 
4. When the pakodas turn golden brown colour, take it from oil and serve hot with any sauce. 
5. You can use the left over cooked rice for this recipe. A perfect snack for tea time.
