Thalipeeth

Thalipeeth

INGREDIENTS

cup leftover boiled rice, 
1 cud dal, 
1 cup leafy veg,
2 cup Wheat Flour
1/2 cup Gram Flour (Beasan), 
Finely chopped onion,
 finely chopped coriander leaves, 
red chilly powder,
 coriander powder,
 jeera powder, 
salt to taste, 
turmeric powder, 
refined oil.

METHOD

Mash well the leftover cooked rice, mash well and add cooked dal and vegetable to it. 
Make a very soft dough mixing all the other ingredients. Put little oil on hot tawa/ griddle. 
Take a ball of the dough and spread it over the oil. Create little thick rounds of Thalipeeth. make small holes in it,
 put oil into them and fry well on the tawa till both sides are cooked well. Filling and healthy full-meal thalipeeth is ready to eat.
 Serve with curd, ketchup, pickles, chutney, anything you like.
